PRIVATE
LESSONS (online & in person)
General
Private lessons consist of 60 minute 1-1 or
1-2 tutoring. Classes can take place online or at the tutor´s office (Wirral,
UK).
Lessons are sold upfront in packages of
four classes to be scheduled according to the student´s and tutor´s
availability.
Prices
Class prices might vary, in accordance to
current promotions and according to the number of students.

Free
videochat
We offer a free videochat to get to know
each other, test your level, and give you specific advice and answer general enquiries
about our classes and courses.
This consists of a free 30-minute-videochat
to be hold on Skype, Google Meet or Zoom to be scheduled according to the
student and the tutor´s availability.
Scheduling
lessons & frequency
Lessons are scheduled according to the
student´s and tutor availability.
Please note that the tutor´s timezone is
England, United Kingdom. You can check
our availability by sending us an email to buenaonda.escuela@gmail.com prior to buying any 1-1 lessons.
Re-scheduling lessons
If you need to
change the date or the time of your lesson please contact the tutor via email
or Whatsapp to reschedule the class with as much notice as possible.
Lessons not
rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice will be cancelled and deducted from
the package of hours.
Late show up / absences
Classes begin
and end at the agreed time, regardless of the student’s show up time. In case of
a problem, the student should contact the tutor via Whatsapp or email as soon
as possible.
In the case
the student doesn´t show up, the lesson will be considered cancelled and
discounted from the packages of hours acquired.
In
the rare event the tutor is not able to give the lesson due to unforeseen
circumstances, the teacher will contact the student/s as soon as possible in
order to reschedule the lesson.
Material
The material is included in the price and
cannot be shared with any other person without permission. The copy,
reproduction and/or the distribution of the material is prohibited.
Certain courses may require a specific
book for the classes.
Refunds
Private lessons are not refundable and not
transferrable to any other person.
If you still have unused lessons on your
package and you decide to end the lessons, you won´t be entitled to a full or
partial refund for the remaining unused classes.
Ending
lessons
You can end the classes at any time, however,
we kindly ask for a minimum notice of two weeks is required before ending the
tuition if possible.
Expiry of packages
The
lesson packages must be used within 3 months after the date of purchase. After
that time, the package will expire and the lessons will be considered
completed.
GROUP
LESSONS (face to face)
General
Group lessons are regular classes in
person. Group lessons are subjected to a
minimum and a maximum of students to run (3-5 students).
Group lessons are paid up front,
four-weekly.
Location
Group lessons take place in cafés and
other venues on the Wirral, UK. Please check the location with the tutor via
email or WhatsApp.
Timetable
& frequency of the lessons
Group courses run on a fix regular day, at
a fixed hour, unless rare events (for example a bank holiday).
Enrolment
process.
If you are interested in taking part in one
of the group courses, please fill in the pre-enrolment form.
You will be contacted by the School to
schedule a free videochat with the tutor to assess your level and suitability
for the group.

Group lessons
cannot be rescheduled, unless it´s a national holiday or the tutor is unable to
attend due to unforeseen events. In this scenario, the tutor will propose 3
alternative dates to make up the lesson with the students so they can decide
which date is the most suitable.
Late show up / absences
Classes begin
and end at the agreed time on the fixed date the lessons take place, regardless
of the student’s arrival time. In case you have a problem, please contact the
tutor as soon as possible via email or Whatsapp.
Dropping the lessons
If
by any reason you are unable to attend the lessons anymore, please let us know
with at least two weeks notice so we can reorganize the group.
Refunds
Group courses are not refundable and not
transferrable to any person. If you still have unused lessons on your package
and you decide to end the lessons, you won´t be entitled to a full or partial
refund for the remaining unused classes.
Material

Group courses and workshops are group

particular language objective.
Please note that group courses and
workshops are subject to a minimum of eight students and a maximum of 12.

Face to face classes and workshops take
place in different settings on the Wirral, United Kingdom, which will be
clearly stated before buying the course.

Time, dates and other details will be
indicated for each course.
Enrolment

If you are interested in taking one of the
group courses or workshops, please fill in the pre-enrolment form.
The tutor will assess your suitability for
the course and will contact you as soon as possible to finish the enrolment
process.
Please note that in the case a group doesn´t
meet the minimum of the students the course will be cancelled and we will
refund the 100% of the course fee.

COMPLAINTS/DISPUTES
Student success and satisfaction is very
important for us. If you wish to make a complaint or a suggestion, you can send
us an email to buenaonda.escuela@gmail.com indicating the reason of your
dissatisfaction. We will closely review your case and get back to you as soon
as possible and will do our best to solve the issue.
RIGHT
OF ADMISSION AND PERMANENCE
The School reserves the right of admission and
permanence on our courses, both online and in person.
Abusive, hateful, discriminatory or disruptive
behavior of any sort will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from
the school, without the right to a refund or compensation of any type.
